Celebrating Australia's most spectacular birding destination

The Capertee Valley Bird Festival is the product of a collaborative partnership between Glen Alice Community Association, Glen Davis Community Association, and Birdlife Southern NSW.

For more than 30 years the people of the Valley have worked with Birdlife Southern NSW to regenerate habitat to support the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater and many other woodland birds. This is one of the longest running environmental projects in Australia.

The Valley has attracted birders for a long time and the local bird trail is a great resource.

... but, we knew there was more to offer among the habitats behind farm gates.
